Advisory bodies play an important role in City governance by assisting the Mayor and City Council in addressing specific issues in detail, lending professional expertise, facilitating community decision-making, and serving as a primary conduit between citizens, City staff and departments, and the City Council.The Westminster City Council invites residents of the City of Westminster to submit an application to serve on various Boards, Commissions and Committees for terms that generally expire every two even numbered years, coinciding with the General Municipal Election cycle.
