NOTICE OF VACANCY

The Westminster City Council is inviting residents of the City of Westminster to submit an application to serve on various Commissions and Committees for terms that will expire in November 2012. If you are interested in serving, please fill out the online application and return it to the City Clerk's office as soon as possible. Please contact the City Clerk's office at (714) 548-3174 if you have any questions. The following Commissions and Committees currently have vacancies:

Advisory Committee for the Disabled

Commission on Aging

Community Services and Recreation

Energy Committee

Tree Education Committee

Advisory bodies play an important role in City governance by assisting the Mayor and City Council in addressing specific issues in detail, lending professional expertise, facilitating community decision-making, and serving as a primary conduit between citizens, City staff and departments, and the City Council.
