55 Alive – Safe Driving Program provides a trained instructor who teaches a refresher course for drivers. Class meets for four hours a day on a Thursday and Friday. The cost is $12.00 for AARP Members and $14.00 for non-members. This class is sponsored by AARP and pre-registration is required.
Adult Fitness (Chair Exercise) calisthenics, weight training and exercise to increase muscular strength and improve posture and mobility.
Aerobics is a conditioning class for older adults designed to improve health and increase stamina.
Balance & Mobility is a preventive class for seniors at risk for falling; requires doctor's approval, medical history and balance evaluation by the instructor prior to enrollment.
Computer Classes are offered for beginning and intermediate levels. Due to popular demand, participants must sign-up on a waiting list.
Line Dance Class is offered on Mondays & Thursdays at three different times throughout the day. New students may sign-up with the Monday instructor.
Longevity Stick is a Vietnamese form of exercise involving slow movement and stretching. Classes are held outside the center on Mondays and Thursdays from
9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Needlework Class takes place on Mondays from 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Yarn Spinners is offered to those who are interested in learning knitting and crochet techniques. Class meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m.
to 11:30 a.m.
