The Finance Department is responsible for the fiscal affairs of the City and the Redevelopment Agency. This includes the handling and investment of cash receipts, procurement of goods and services, disbursement of all money, billing of water utility, recording of all transactions, preparation of payroll, preparation and maintenance of the budget and general ledger, and safeguarding the financial assets and financial records of the City and Redevelopment Agency.
