Street construction and/or road closures will be occurring at the following locations:
CDBG 09-10 Street Improvements
The Mayor and City Council awarded the subject project to ICE Engineering, Inc. at their December 16, 2009 meeting. The work to be done consists of removing and replacing damaged curb, gutter, and sidewalk, constructing wheelchair ramps, removing and replacing deteriorated pavement areas, cold planing existing asphalt pavement, placing pavement reinforcement fabric and installing two inches of asphalt concrete overlay, adjusting manhole covers and water valves to finished grade, and installing striping and pavement markings. The project includes the following streets:
1.23rd Street from Hoover Street to Arizona Street
2.Oso Way from w/o Cedar Street to End
3.Pal Way from w/o Cedar Street to End
4.Stahov Place from 350’ e/o Pine Street to 350’ w/o Pine
5.Arvilla Circle from e/o Jefferson Street to End
6.Emerado Circle from e/o Jefferson Street to End
7.Amidon Circle from e/o Jefferson Street to End
8.Jefferson Street from 20th Street to 23rd Street
9.Medora Place from n/o 23rd Street to End
ICE Engineering will begin construction on Thursday, February 18, for the duration of 30 days. All driveways will remain open.
City-Wide Street Improvements – Overlay 09-10
All American Asphalt will continue to pave various streets until Saturday, February 20, and begin manhole and water valve adjustments thereafter. All driveways will remain open.
