The Fleet Maintenance Division provides City staff with dependable, safe, efficient vehicles and equipment as cost effectively as possible.
Responsibilities:
1.Perform preventative maintenance, major and minor repairs on vehicles and other mechanical equipment.
2.Follow fleet replacement plan to enable the fleet to operate as efficiently as possible by downsizing, purchasing used vehicles, and utilizing alternative fuel vehicles where appropriate.
3.Provide fuel and maintain the fueling facilities and related equipment.
