Water Conservation

Governor Schwarzenegger has declared a drought across the State of California.  If we don’t conserve water now the state could be in a serious situation three years from now.

A new Water Conservation  Ordinance No. 2449  was adopted by the Mayor and City Council on May 27, 2009.  The Ordinance places restrictions on residents by reducing landscape watering hours and duration, regulating the washing of vehicles and hard surfaces, and mandating the obligation to fix leaks, breaks, and malfunctions in a timely manner.   The City's goal is to conserve water during times of drought  and to help residents lower water bills.
