The Community Advisory Group serves as an advisory body to the Agency Board and City Council regarding recommendations for redevelopment activities and projects, comments on current redevelopment activity and as a sounding board to receive community reaction to proposed and current redevelopment activities. To meet in accordance with State Redevelopment Law for consideration of proposed project area amendments and other redevelopment matters.
Organization:
Consists of ten (10) members.Each member of the City Council appoints two commissioners who shall serve at the pleasure of the member of the City Council who appointed the commissioner. Group membership is open to any resident or business person in the City of Westminster interested in redevelopment.
