Advisory Committee for the Disabled

Purpose:

To identify the needs of the disabled within the City of Westminster and create a citizen awareness of these needs; encourage improved standards of services to persons with disabilities and the establishment of needed new services, both public and private, to encourage coordination among organizations providing services to disabled persons within the City of Westminster and Orange County, and to provide advice and assistance where appropriate; and advise the City Council on all matters affecting the disabled within the City of Westminster.

Organization:

Consists of seven (7) members and one alternate member appointed by a majority of the City Council.

Meetings:

Meets on an “as needed” basis.
