To Speak at a Council Meeting

The Westminster City Council and Agency Board welcomes your comments to address the Council/Agency on items ON or OFF the agenda that are within the subject matter jurisdiction,  Each person is allowed five (5) minutes (Per WMC Section 2.04.040, Ordinance No. 2438 to address the City Council/Agency Board under Oral Communications, unless extended by a majority vote of the City Council/Agency Board).

Request to Speak slips are available at the front of the Council Chamber and at the City Clerk's desk before and during City Council Meetings.  Please complete the information on this slip and submit it to the City Clerk/Secretary prior to the Oral Communications section of the Agenda.  The information asked on the form is strictly voluntary; however, it will help the Council/Agency or the staff to contact you after the conclusion of the meeting, if necessary.  Any testimony or comments regarding a matter set for a Public Hearing will be heard during the hearing.  If speaking on a public hearing item, submit the slip to the City Clerk/Secretary prior to the Public Hearing section of the Agenda.  You will be called to speak by the City Clerk.
