Welcome to the City of Westminster Film Permit Application Process. We have made the process as simple as possible to ensure your project deadlines are met.
1. Submit Complete Application (two weeks prior to filming date)
3. A written notification shall be distributed to the adjacent property owners by the applicant(s) at least 48 hours prior to filming, if the following conditions occur:
Impact to on-street parking
Filming on public right-of-way such as street, sidewalk, etc.
Use of any equipment that will generate noise
Or as it is determined by the City of Westminster
4. If filming will take place on private property, the Production Company must obtain written permission from the property owner.
5. If filming will take place on public (city owned) property, the Production Company must notify the Police Department if pedestrian or vehicular traffic will be affected, so that traffic control officers can be assigned to the site.
