Liberty Skate Park: Westminster’s skate park is located at Liberty Park, 13900 Monroe Street and was designed to be an “entry level” park for the beginner to intermediate skaters. It gives our young people an opportunity to pursue skateboarding in a safe environment. The skate park is open 7 days a week from 8am to dusk. Helmets, elbow and knee pads are required.

St. Patrick's Day (714) 897-8181 The Brothers of St. Patrick host the annual Saint Patricks Family Festival. The celebration of Irish culture is billed as the largest of its kind in Southern California. The daylong event normally begins with a mass followed by activities such as Irish football and hurling. Irish food is featured along with traditional music and dancing.
Blessed Sacrament Parish Festival (714) 892-4489 For three days during May, families gather at Blessed Sacrament Parish for the annual festival that started in 1957. Although there is no longer a parade to accompany the event, modern rides fill the church lot, along with mini raffles, a grand raffle, a country store filled with donated goods for as cheap as 25 cents, a grand beer garden and Vietnamese and Spanish food stands that depict the diversity of this old city.

Anyone interested in the everyday life of Westminster residents in the 19th and early 20th century need look no further than the Blakey Historical Park and Museum. Exhibits include the McCoy-Hare House, which served as the community's first drugstore, built in 1874. The fully restored and furnished 1915 Warne farmhouse with its barn and windmill is another major attraction. The park is operated by the Westminster Historical Society. Special arrangements for guided tours are available.

Vietnam War Memorial Sid Goldstein Freedom Park 14180 All American Way
The dedication of the Vietnam War Memorial in Westminster was held Sunday, April 27, 2003. The Vietnam War Memorial Project was initiated by Westminster City Councilman Frank G. Fry in 1997. A committee was formed to select a sculptor/designer.Tuan Nguyen, a renowned sculptor/designer was unanimously chosen to sculpt the statue and design the immediate surroundings.
