The City of Westminster has released its April Emergency Preparedness Bulletin, providing residents with important information on preparing for severe weather and earthquakes.

April is recognized as both Severe Weather Awareness Month and Earthquake Preparedness Month in California. The bulletin encourages residents to develop a household emergency plan, download the MyShake App for real-time earthquake alerts, and save the date for the Great California ShakeOut on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 10:15 a.m.
