Summer 2026 Newsletter & Recreation Guide
It's a Star Spangled Summer! Our Summer newsletter is now available! Summer class registration is now OPEN, enroll for a class in person or online! Many classes are starting at the beginning of June, so enroll today! There's still time to enroll in one of our exciting sports, science, or arts Summer Camps running through August!

Contract Classes: Soccer & Soccer Tots
Soccer and Soccer Tots classes begin at Bolsa Chica Park on Saturday, June 20! Classes are offered for children ages 2 to 8. Children will focus on developing motor skills, self-confidence, and core soccer skills in a fun and supportive environment! Check out the link below to register!
Liberty Tree Planting – Monday, June 22 at 3:30 p.m.
Join the City of Westminster as we commemorate America's 250th anniversary with the dedication of Westminster's Liberty Tree planting in front of the Senior Center on Monday, June 22 at 3:30 p.m.
This beautiful magnolia tree will serve as a living symbol of freedom, resilience, and the community's connection to America's 250-year journey. The event will also feature the unveiling of a commemorative plaque marking this special occasion.
2026 Movies & Music – Movie Nights & Summer Concerts
The City of Westminster Movies & Music series is back! Get ready for a Star Spangled Summer and join us in the Civic Center Sunken Garden on Thursdays in July and August for a fun, family-friendly celebration of film and sound right in the heart of the community!
Movie Nights | Activities start at 6:30 p.m., Movie starts at 8:15 p.m.

- Thursday, July 16 – Angels in the Outfield
- Thursday, July 23 – The Incredibles
- Thursday, July 30 – Cars
Concerts | Activities start at 5:30 p.m., Concerts start at 6:30 p.m.

Cherry St. Eats starts this week! The lineup is here! Join us this week and enjoy a variety of delicious food from our featured food truck vendors.

Summer Kick Off Watch Party

Summer Parks Program
Our FREE Summer Parks Program is the place to be! With tons of activities and fun to go around, we're set to give you the best summer break ever! Starting June 15 through August 7, youth ages 6-14 can enjoy sports, games, crafts, and more! Drop-in daily, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. See you there!

Sigler Park Splash Pad
The Sigler Park Splash Pad is open for the season!
Sigler Park Splash Pad | 7200 Plaza St.
Daily: June 13 to September 7
Public Hours: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
There's still time to reserve your spot for your next birthday party, play date, or even a Summer Camp field trip! Reservation dates are limited – book your private party today! Rental fee for private use of the Splash Pad is $180/Westminster Resident Rate; $200/Non-Resident Rate. Fee includes 2 hours (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) of exclusive use of the Splash Pad with two staff attendants for up to 50 guests.

Fall Festival
