Outdoor Water Play: Flower Power – Wednesday, July 8 from 10:30 – 11:30 AM: Join us for a delightful flower-themed event filled with fun activities for everyone! Enjoy a water table, painting, bubbles, and much more.
Wonderful Wednesdays: Gardening – Wednesday, July 8 at 3:30 PM. We'll be personalizing flowerpots and planting seeds together. It's a great opportunity to get your hands dirty and have some fun.
Totally Untidy Toddlers – Wednesday, July 15 at 10:30 AM. Join us for a fun-filled session where your little ones can explore, get messy, and learn through play.
Wonderful Wednesdays: Board Games – Wednesday, July 15 at 3:30 PM. Jump into the world of gardening with some plant themed board games.
Play & Learn – Fridays, July 17, 24, & 31 from 10:30 – 11:30 AM. Join us for open play! Play and social interaction are a great way for our littlest patrons to learn essential concepts.
Outdoor Water Play: Things that go! – Wednesday, July 22 at 10:30 AM. Join us for our final outdoor water play event! We will have a water table and bubbles, but this session will emphasize discovering items that can float, roll, and fly. We look forward to seeing you there!
Wonderful Wednesdays: Pokemon – Wednesday, July 22 at 3:30 PM. Join us for a fun-filled Pokemon-themed event where you can test your knowledge! Enjoy trivia, crafts, and plenty of exciting activities.
Read to a Dog – Monday, July 27 from 3:30 – 4:30 PM. Practice your reading skills with a furry new friend! Bring your own book or use one of ours! Read to a Dog meets in the library programs room.
Play Dough Play Date – Wednesday, July 29 at 10:30 AM. Play, create, and connect! This program offers open-ended play that encourages creativity, sharing, and social skills.
Wonderful Wednesdays: Harry Potter Party – Wednesday, July 29 from 3:30 – 4:30 PM: Join in the celebration of Harry Potter's birthday with some exciting games, crafts, and activities that will bring the magic to life!
Programs for Families:
LEGO Club – Fridays from 3:00 – 4:00 PM: Come play with our LEGO and DUPLO bricks or build amazing structures with our KEVA planks. We provide the materials; you provide the creativity. Fun for the whole family.
Billy Bonkers Magic Show – Saturday, July 11 at 3:30 PM. Enjoy an interactive magic and comedy show with a unique British twist!
Programs for Adults:
Fiber Arts Group – Tuesdays from 4:00 – 6:00 PM: Do you knit or crochet? Or would you like some help learning? Bring your own projects. All fiber arts welcome! This group is open to all levels. Some supplies provided.
Drop In Tech Help – Thursdays from 4:00 – 6:00 PM: Need help with your phone or computer? This program is offered as walk-in only, first come, first served.
Gardening in Small Places – Saturday, July 11 from 3:00 – 4:00 PM. This presentation will teach you how to garden in small spaces. UC Master Gardeners of OC will discuss using plants to enhance a balcony, patio, or small yard. Each attendee will receive a packet of seeds to take home.
Record Club – Monday, July 14 from 5:00 – 6:00 PM: Join us on the 2nd Monday of the month at Westminster Library for Record Club. Tired of endless streaming? Come in and share your favorite tunes on Vinyl or CD. Light refreshments will be provided.
Adult Book Group – Tuesday, July 28 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Join us for a lively discussion at the Westminster Library Book Group. The group meets the fourth Tuesday of the month. This month we will discuss Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy. Limited copies of the book are available for checkout at the service desk.
Adult Craft: Flower Pot Painting – Saturday, July 25 at 3:00 PM: Adults are invited to get creative by painting terracotta pots. Supplies will be provided; you provide the creativity! For ages 18+. Space is limited to the first 20 adults.

Teen Cooking Basics: Smoothies – Thursday, July 2 at 1:00 PM. Build confidence in the kitchen and learn the basics of cooking at the library! Blend up your favorite fruits and try out new combinations.
Teen Craft: Zines – Thursday, July 9 at 1:00 PM. Express yourself with your own hand-made booklet, or zine! Share your own personal thoughts and interests in a print format.
Teen Cooking Basics: Cookies – Thursday, July 16 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM: Build confidence in the kitchen and learn the basics of cooking at the library! Learn how to bake cookies! Add your favorite mix-ins and try something new!
Teen Summer Book Club: Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson – Thursday, July 23 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Escape the summer sun with a good book and a fun craft! While we chat, we'll be painting watercolor bookmarks.
