July is Parks Make Life Better Month
Be a part of the celebration this July. Visit any of these activities to receive a commemorative Westminster PMLB pin (while supplies last).
Week 2 Theme: Positive Spaces – Westminster is home to many positive spaces for all ages, including parks, the Senior Center, and the Family Resource Center.

It's a Star Spangled Summer! Our Summer newsletter is now available! Summer class registration is now OPEN in person or online! There's still time to enroll in one of our exciting sports, science, or arts Summer Camps running through August!

Contract Classes: Mad Science – Little Sprouts
Discover the wonders of nature in this fun, hands-on camp for little scientists! Explore insects, weather, plants, and soil through hands-on experiments and outdoor play. Watch curiosity bloom as we dig into the science of growing things! Classes run July 20 – July 24, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Parents requested not to stay during class.
- Must be potty trained.
- $30 materials fee due the first day of class.
2026 Movies & Music – Movie Nights & Summer Concerts
The City of Westminster Movies & Music series is back! Get ready for a Star Spangled Summer and join us in the Civic Center Sunken Garden on Thursdays in July and August for a fun, family-friendly celebration of film and sound right in the heart of the community!
Movie Nights | Activities start at 6:30 p.m., Movie starts at 8:15 p.m.

- Thursday, July 23 – The Incredibles
- Thursday, July 30 – Cars
Concerts | Activities start at 5:30 p.m., Concerts start at 6:30 p.m.

Whether you're stopping by for dinner or a street treat, there's something new to enjoy throughout the week.
Rotating food truck vendors will be on-site each week offering various delicious food options. This is an opportunity to support local businesses and enjoy the community atmosphere. Be on the lookout for family-friendly activities on scheduled days!

Recreation Program
Summer Parks Program
Our FREE Summer Parks Program is the place to be! With tons of activities and fun to go around, we're set to give you the best summer break ever! Starting June 15 through August 7, youth ages 6-14 can enjoy sports, games, crafts, and more! Drop-in daily, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. See you there!

The Mobile Rec program is popping up this week and rolling to a park near you! Our Mobile Rec team will travel to different parks during the summer offering youth ages 6-14 fun games, cool crafts, and engaging outdoor activities. Please keep your eye on our social media pages for locations, dates, and times.

Sigler Park Splash Pad
The Sigler Park Splash Pad is open for the season!

Daily: Now through September 7
Public Hours: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
There's still time to reserve your spot for your next birthday party, play date, or even a Summer Camp field trip! Reservation dates are limited – book your private party today! Rental fee for private use of the Splash Pad is $180/Westminster Resident Rate; $200/Non-Resident Rate. Fee includes 2 hours (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) of exclusive use of the Splash Pad with two staff attendants for up to 50 guests.

Tony Lam Park Pickleball Courts Ribbon Cutting
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Wednesday, July 22 at 3:00 p.m. to celebrate the newly converted pickleball courts at Tony Lam Park. Attendees are invited to enjoy games with other players following the ceremony.

The Westminster Family Resource Center offers a variety of free services for families with children under 18. The center will be hosting various events this spring! Visit the WFRC at 7200 Plaza St. at Sigler Park or call (714) 903-1331.
Family Sports Night
Join the Family Resource Center for a fun Family Sports Night at Sigler Park on Tuesday, July 14 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Bring your family to play soccer, basketball, and pickleball at the park to celebrate Parks Make Life Better Month.
