Join us tonight to celebrate National Night Out featuring Safety Day and Summer Concerts! The event is today, Thursday, August 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Civic Center Sunken Gardens, 8200 Westminster Blvd. This community event kicks off the Movies & Music summer concert series and offers a chance to connect with neighbors and meet local public safety teams.

Attendees can visit police, fire, and ambulance displays courtesy of the Westminster Police Department, CHP Westminster, and OCFA Division 1, along with K9 demonstrations, pet adoptions, games, prizes, and activities for kids. Food options will be available from the Deli Doctor, Wheez the Juice OC, Wetzel's Pretzels, and Scooter's Italian Ice food trucks. The evening continues at 6:30 p.m. with the first Summer Concert, featuring 90s rock band The Brightsiders. America 250 yard signs are still available for pickup at the Community Services and Recreation booth during the event.
