The City of Westminster is excited to kick off our community engagement effort to shape the City’s first Economic Development Strategic Plan.
A strategic plan is a roadmap that outlines the City’s priorities and how they will be accomplished. For Westminster, strengthening financial stability and enhancing public services are key Citywide goals and this plan will guide the City’s economic development efforts in supporting those broader objectives.
The most effective plans are those based on strong community engagement. As part of this launch, the City is administering two surveys one for residents and one for businesses. Input gathered through the surveys will help the City develop an Economic Development Strategic Plan that reflects community and business priorities and supports long-term financial stability and sustainable growth.
Surveys can be taken online or in printed form in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish. Printed copies can be picked up at City Hall, the Community Services Center, the Senior Center, and the Family Resource Center.

Thành Phố Westminster Khởi Động Chương Trình Gắn Kết Cộng Đồng cho Kế Hoạch Chiến Lược Phát Triển Kinh Tế của Thành Phố

Thành Phố Westminster vui mừng khởi động chương trình gắn kết cộng đồng nhằm xây dựng Kế Hoạch Chiến Lược Phát Triển Kinh Tế đầu tiên của Thành Phố.
Bản kế hoạch chiến lược là lộ trình xác định các ưu tiên của Thành phố và phương thức thực hiện các ưu tiên đó. Đối với Westminster, việc củng cố sự ổn định về tài chính và nâng cao chất lượng dịch vụ công cộng là những mục tiêu trọng tâm trên toàn Thành Phố; kế hoạch này sẽ định hướng các nỗ lực phát triển kinh tế nhằm hỗ trợ những mục tiêu bao quát đó.
Những kế hoạch hiệu quả nhất là những kế hoạch được xây dựng dựa trên sự tham gia tích cực của cộng đồng. Trong khuôn khổ chương trình khởi động này, Thành Phố đang thực hiện hai cuộc khảo sát: một dành cho cư dân và một dành cho doanh nghiệp. Ý kiến thu thập được từ các cuộc khảo sát sẽ giúp Thành Phố xây dựng Kế Hoạch Chiến Lược Phát Triển Kinh tế phản ánh đúng các ưu tiên của cộng đồng và doanh nghiệp, đồng thời hỗ trợ sự ổn định tài chính lâu dài và tăng trưởng bền vững.
Quý vị có thể tham gia khảo sát trực tuyến hoặc điền vào bản in bằng tiếng Anh, tiếng Việt, hoặc tiếng Tây Ban Nha. Bản in có sẵn tại Tòa Thị Chính (City Hall), Trung Tâm Dịch Vụ Cộng Đồng (Community Services Center), Trung Tâm Người Cao Niên (Senior Center), và Trung Tâm Hỗ Trợ Các Gia Đình (Family Resource Center).

La Ciudad de Westminster se complace en iniciar nuestro esfuerzo de participación comunitaria para dar forma al primer Plan Estratégico de Desarrollo Económico de la Ciudad.
Un plan estratégico es una hoja de ruta que describe las prioridades de la ciudad y cómo se lograrán. Para Westminster, fortalecer la estabilidad financiera y mejorar los servicios públicos son objetivos clave para toda la ciudad, y este plan guiará los esfuerzos de desarrollo económico para apoyar dichos objetivos.
Los planes más eficaces son aquellos que se basan en una sólida participación comunitaria. Como parte de este lanzamiento, la Ciudad está administrando dos encuestas una para los residentes y otra para las empresas. La información recopilada a través de las encuestas ayudará a la Ciudad a desarrollar un Plan Estratégico de Desarrollo Económico que refleje las prioridades de la comunidad y las empresas, y que apoye la estabilidad financiera a largo plazo y el crecimiento sostenible.
Las encuestas se pueden realizar en línea o en formato impreso, disponibles en inglés, vietnamita y español. Las copias impresas pueden recogerse en el Ayuntamiento, el Community Services Center, el Senior Center y el Family Resource Center.
