This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to secure the most qualified consultant to compile and implement a comprehensive ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan for City-owned facilities, including, but not limited to, buildings, parks, parking lots, street intersections and sidewalks, and curb ramps. The selected consultant will, among other tasks, perform field investigations within the City right-of-way and of City facilities and parks in order to identify obstacles limiting accessibility, describe methods to improve accessibility and specify a schedule for achieving ADA compliance. The City is approximately 10.04 square miles and has approximately 191 centerline miles of streets. Certain sections and tasks within the project scope should be phased such that a separate scope and cost are provided for three (3) primary categories: (A) Public Right-of-Way, (B) Public Buildings, and (C) Parks & Recreational Facilities.
Responses to RFP will be accepted until Friday, February 13, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Proposals received after this date/time will not be considered. It is the responsibility of the proposer to ensure that any proposals submitted have sufficient time to be received by the City of Westminster prior to this proposal due date and time. Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the week of March 2, 2026.
