
Improvement Sponsorship is designed for individuals or organizations to complete maintenance activities such as (but not limited to) graffiti removal, litter removal, small scale gardening and landscaping, and painting.
The Community Services and Recreation Department will work with the adopting group to identify the needs of the requested site and will provide necessary training if needed.
Recognition
Participants will receive the following recognition:
- Certificate of participation
- Recognition at a Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting
Participants who commit to adopting a park for at least one year, completing a minimum of six scheduled cleanups, will also receive the following recognition:
- Recognition at a City Council meeting
- Quarter page recognition in a City Newsletter & Recreation Guide
- Adopt-a-Park signage at the adopted park

Donation Sponsorship is a meaningful way to honor someone or celebrate a special occasion. Your contribution supports park amenities that meet Westminster’s design standards (see page 5 for pricing).
Amenities include (but not limited to) picnic tables, drinking fountains, trash receptacles, benches, and trees.
Memorial Trees honor those who have passed, while Honor Trees celebrate special milestones like birthdays or retirements. Trees are planted in designated City parks, and donors receive a certificate (plaques can be provided at an additional cost).

Participants donating more than $1,000 will also receive the following recognition:
- Recognition at a City Council meeting
