City Boards, Commissions, & Committees
Advisory bodies play an important role in City governance by assisting the Mayor and City Council in addressing specific issues in detail, lending professional expertise, facilitating community decision-making, and serving as a primary conduit between citizens, City staff and departments, and the City Council.
Appointments are made to various Boards, Commissions and Committees for terms that generally expire every two even numbered years, coinciding with the General Municipal Election cycle. Appointments are also made to fill unscheduled vacancies as needed. To view current vacancy notices, please visit the Public Notices page.
Unless otherwise noted, applicant must be a resident of Westminster. If you are interested in serving, please fill out and submit the application and a copy of your driver's license or utility bill. The documents may be submitted in-person, mailed, or via e-mail.
